Baby’s first bath 🐣

I can still hear Neil’s voice crack as he said, “it’s a little girl!” What a blissful decade it’s been raising you, our Winnie girl.

Life has been really good at humbling me lately. This morning, I caught myself *almost* enjoying the sight of a crying kindergartener because I was thinking, “MY kid is always the one crying, it’s kind of nice to be past that stage.&rdquo

“But they’re so much happier when they’re in school.” He says this gently to me, every day.

“But for so long, they were happiest at home with me.” I tell him this, every day.

These years that I won’t ever
